The Mexican government has strict regulations of the entrance of vehicles within its borders. If necessary, your driving license must be with you all the time. On Wednesdays, cars with license plates that end with 3 or 4 are not allowed to roam. While on Thursdays, no driving is allowed to cars that end with 1 or 2. On Fridays, vehicles with license plates that end with 9, 0, or letter can’t be driven. Saturdays and Sundays are the best days that all vehicles may be driven.

If possible, don’t drive at night or you maintain regular speed while driving in Mexico as loose livestock can block your way and may result to accidents.
